La Casa del Compadre
Unidos por la Comunidad
An international network of solidarity, hospitality and support for the Peruvian community in Italy and abroad. Inclusion, sustainability, and a replicable model that turns shipping containers into communities.
WHO ARE WE
La Casa del Compadre is an international initiative that supports the Peruvian community in Italy and vulnerable groups in Peru.
We design safe, multifunctional spaces for listening, hospitality, and growth by transforming shipping containers into modular community centers. These innovative structures become homes, classrooms, counseling offices, and cultural hubsβcreating dignity, inclusion, and opportunity wherever they are needed.
VISION & MISSION
Vision
To create an international network of solidarity, hospitality and concrete support, founded on three pillars: social inclusion, sustainability, and replicability of the model.
Mission
To provide safe, multifunctional spaces for hospitality, counseling and social support:
-
For Peruvians who have migrated to Italy (healthcare, employment, culture, family)
-
For vulnerable communities in Peru (abandoned children, orphans, young mothers)
Our goal is to promote dignity, growth, and opportunity by connecting migration experiences with the needs of the communities of origin.
